I am formally requesting your help in securing the

“Miss Debutante 2024/2025 Crown & Scholarship"

Fundraising through donations, gala tickets & Ad pages that will be featured in the 2025 CAC Debutante Cotillion Program Book

My name is Aubri Hardaway...

I am a proud senior at the School for Creative and Performing Arts , where I have been committed to academic excellence since the 5th grade. I am thrilled to announce the opportunity that I have to participate in the Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s Debutante Cotillion!

The cotillion is an amazing opportunity to celebrate my achievements, build confidence and compete for scholarship money to support my education. Since 1993 CAC has awarded over $250,000 in scholarships to participants and I am honored to be part of this amazing opportunity.

To make this happen, participants like me need support through donations, journal ads, and gala ticket sales.

Your contribution would truly make a difference as I work toward my future goals. I plan to attend an HBCU and pursue film + screenwriting.

Your generous donation will play a pivotal role in not only helping me achieve my academic aspirations, but also in demonstrating your unwavering commitment to nurturing education within our community. I truly value every contribution, no matter the size, as it directly empowers the success and continued growth of the scholarship program. Your support is an investment in both my future and the future of countless others who will benefit from these opportunities. Thank you sincerely for your thoughtful consideration and for making a lasting impact.

About me

As someone deeply inspired by my mother’s example of independence, humility, and perseverance, I have cultivated these qualities in my own journey. My experiences, such as working as a health home aide, have taught me the importance of empathy and emotional intelligence. Losing a patient to suicide during that role was profoundly impactful, driving me to become a more compassionate and purpose-driven individual.

Academically, I am committed to excelling in film, where I aim to further study writing. Sharpening pen skills that will someday positively shape society. My passion for studying people’s behavior and fostering open-mindedness underscores my belief in the power of art to bring about understanding and change. Beyond academics, I actively seek opportunities to lead and inspire others. I work alongside my mother as she runs her businesses Plant Cincy and as her social media lead in the field for BlartArtsSpeaks and through my participation as a debutante, I strive to showcase elegance, leadership, and the importance of community-building.

Future Plans

In the future I plan to graduate high school and pursue my passion for storytelling by attending college to study film writing. I've been a dedicated writing student at the Performing Arts School since I was 10 years old and now I'm excited to take my skills to the next level, honing my craft and creating stories that inspire, entertain and provoke thought. My ultimate goal is to break into the film industry and write screenplays that leave a lasting impact.

Personal Motto

“If there’s a will, there’s a way.”
